Hoffman's Playland

After Caelyn's graduation she and her friends went to Hoffman's Playland for their graduation party. Hoffman's is an amusement park for children. I was really impressed with how brave Caelyn was going on the rides alone with her friends. She was not scared at all.

It is hard to believe that Caelyn is going to Kindergarten!! We are so proud of her!! She is such a big girl.

Cayson's Daycare Party

I decorated my first cake for Cayson's daycare party. It turned out pretty good. Caelyn and I went over there after school for the party. Theresa said the kids were sitting there practically like vultures waiting for us to get there so they could cut the cake. I don't think Cayson really cared what the cake looked like. I think he just wanted to eat it. It was really good.

Finally a new update!!!

Ok so the blog has not been updated in over 3 months, a first since it has been started. So this is a pretty big update. I think there are two pages or more of updates. You may have to watch the videos over again. They seem to be loading slow. We are all doing really great, busy lately since it has warmed up quite a bit. We are getting ready to come home next month!!!! We are all so excited!! This is going to be a really busy summer, but we are very excited. Chad has been traveling a lot lately. He has been to California twice and Taiwan. He will be going to Japan and France in a couple of weeks. All for work. But I will get to join him in France after school lets out. Caelyn and Cayson are excited about Granny Carlie and Aunt Rosie coming for their visit in a couple of weeks. Caelyn is graduating from Pre-K in TWO weeks. I can't believe she is going to be a kindergartner!! She is getting so big and is so smart. She is really busy with dance, gymnastics, swim lessons, and soccer. She just had her dance recital and gymnastics meet. Cayson will be turn two next Sunday. He is such a big boy!! He is talking more, getting into EVERYTHING, running, jumping and throwing, and copying everything, especially what you say. Cayson has started soccer too.

Dance Recital

Gymnastics Meet

Caelyn had her second gymnastics meet this year. She did really well for being by herself without Mommy or Daddy in class. She won a "first place" medal. I think she likes jumping and hopping around best.

Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day is so much fun for all the students at Sacred Heart. Daddy went with Caelyn and they had a blast. Caelyn was even able to throw the ball and hit the bulls-eye to dunk one of the volunteers. Good throw Caelyn!!! But one of the best parts for Caelyn was hanging out with her friends and the animals. Caelyn loves animals.

Surgery

Caelyn had to go to the hospital to get the tube removed from her ear. She did really good. She was a little disoriented from the anesthesia, but she did good. I don't think she was in much pain. She likes to have people look in her ear to see her "Hello Kitty" band-aid. She's milking this too. She told me she couldn't wear her listening ears because she had to go to the hospital for an "ear infaction" and I was also talking too loud, yet she was running through the house screaming. Nice try Caelyn!!

Pottery

Caelyn and Cayson were invited to paint pottery with some friends from Caelyn's school. Cayson I think was more interested in throwing his cup to see what he could break. Caelyn, who was the youngest, picked the most complicated thing to paint. But she worked really hard and it turned out pretty good. The last picture is a drawing of Ariel with makeup.

I got to go to Special Person Day with Caelyn.

Carnival

The carnival was different this year. Caelyn was taller and could ride more of the rides. Of course, the best part for Caelyn and Cayson was duck fishing.

Cayson Cuts His Own Hair

Cayson is not a satisfied customer with Daddy's haircuts. He thinks he has watched Daddy enough and can do it on his own. Cayson is very interested in scissors right now.

Circus time

Caelyn and I went to the circus. It was the first time for both of us. It was really fun. Caelyn was a little upset there were no monkeys and "little" clowns. The acrobats were really good and the animal tricks were incredible.

Mother's Day Celebration

Caelyn had a Mother's Day Ice Cream celebration at school. It was so cute. Caelyn made the cutest gifts for me. The self portrait of me is the best!!We had such a great time together.

Easter

We did various Easter activities this year. Caelyn and Cayson went to an Easter egg hunt at my school and at the soccer facility. We had to have our hunt at home a couple of days early because Dad went to Taiwan. We had fun!!

Warm finally!!!

It is finally starting to warm up here enough to go outside and play at the park.

Albany Devils Game

A student at my school invited Caelyn and Cayson to the Albany Devil's Hockey game. It was their first hockey game. We had rink seats right behind the goalie.

I think Caelyn has been watching too much America's Next Top Model with Mommy. Have you noticed that most of her pictures she is posing?

Kid's Expo

The Kids Expo was pretty cool. Caelyn and Cayson got to meet Dora, Diego, Spider Man, R2D2, and a Stormtropper from Star Wars. They were not fans of Chewbacca. We all enjoyed face painting, showing off our tooth brushing skills, and riding the train.

Caelyn is a fish

Caelyn is back in swimming lessons. She was insisting on knowing how to swim before we come back to Texas next month. She is getting better and better. she is not afraid to put her head under water.

The Lion King

Caelyn got to go see the Lion King. It was AWESOME. We had third row seats.!! Thanks Aunt Rosie!!! Caelyn was very focused and observant during the show. She commented on special effects and even pointed out that one of the actors was "hot and sweaty". It was a really good show.

Cayson has started soccer

Cayson is always wanting to be like his big sister, so we enrolled him in soccer. The only problem is, Cayson is so use to playing with Daddy during Caelyn's soccer time that he wants to run his class and do his own thing. He does try for a kid who is 21 months and the youngest in his class, but I think he is more interested in climbing over the field separators, trying to escape from the field, getting some of coach's coffee, and getting into the stamps. His favorite part is, of course, hanging out with Daddy, rolling around on the parachute and playing super heroes because he likes being chased. Cayson is moving so fast at all times, his pictures are a little blurry.

The beef jerky king

Chad has become the king of making beef jerky. He may have a business coming soon.
