My salad
Last night I was eating a salad and Caelyn asked me if I was eating leaves. :):) Of course we had to explain to her not to ever eat leaves. Today we went to look at houses and there was a plant and Caelyn told me not to eat the leaves :):)

It is so cold
It is really cold here. I really don't remember being this cold over a period of time. It is so cold we really can't get out and do anything. When we go outside, Caleyn walks stiff legged. She needs a body suit. I already want it to warm up to spring-like weather and we haven't even been here an entire winter. We have warm coats, but that does not help below the waist. Somebody please send us warm weather.
Change in background
I had to change the blog up a little bit. I know it looks very "girl". That does not mean anything. We still don't know the sex of the baby, although we believe the baby is a girl. We are looking for unique girl names. We have a possible boy name, but nothing definite. But no such luck on a girl name. Any suggestions? :):)

Baby Young II

Ok I have failed to mention that we are expecting another baby in June. I think because everything has been so crazy with the move, I have not mentioned it. I am almost 22 weeks along, half way through. I think everyone knows about it. I feel great, but I am starting to feel very tired being at home with Caelyn all day. She is very active. She exhausts me by noon. I am going to get her out more next week. It is just so cold here to do anything. We have been outside a couple of times to play. But I think she misses her neighborhood and daycare friends. Here is a picture our gummy bear from the sonogram at three months. I have to get the 5 month picture scanned onto my memory stick. The baby is growing great. He/she is a little big in size, but that is a good thing. We don't know the sex, although we did have the technician take a picture and seal it in an envelope. So we know, but we don't know. We are hoping for a boy :):) We will see. It is a done deal. Caelyn sometimes walks around the apartment telling me she has a baby in her tummy too.:):)
Shoveling snow
Why do they shovel and move snow before 6 in the morning here? It is so loud it woke up both Chad and I. Thank God it did not wake up Caelyn.
Sitting in the moving truck
Caelyn really wanted to sit in the moving truck, even before we left. So she got to sit in the truck with her Daddy and she even blew the horn several times.

Our first week in Albany
Our first week in Albany has been exciting to say the least. We are trying to find our way around. It is a lot like Austin except cold and much better highways. We found Walmart and the grocery store. I think we have gone to Walmart almost everyday for something. At first it felt like we were on vacation staying in a timeshare, but then our stuff came on Saturday. It started to sink in that we are here for good. Caelyn asks for family, her neighborhood friends and her daycare teacher and friends everyday. I think that has been the hardest part. It makes us sad to tell her we won't see them today. We have checked out a new doctor for Caelyn and visited two places that could be daycares. It is not the same as being in Kyle. Caelyn got a bad stomach bug Sunday and we ended up in the emergency room because she could not keep anything down and was possibly getting dehydrated. She is fine. :):) Then Monday the carbon monoxide alarm went off and kept going off. I had to call the fire department. The fire truck, two firemen in SUVs, the police, and the ambulance came out. It was embarrassing. There was a trace of carbon monoxide in the apartment, but probably because someone near us started their car in the garage and the wind blew it back in. we will see what happens this week.
Caelyn in the snow and ice
As soon as we landed Caelyn want to play in the snow and ice. Here are some pictures from her first time playing in the snow and ice.
On the airplane
Caelyn did really well on the airplane. She of course had to explore the plane as soon as she got on. She read over the safety instructions and decided she would not be the best candidate in the case of an emergency. She had to change seats :):). Caelyn fell asleep shortly after take off, but woke up before we landed and ate breakfast. In the airport she ran all over the place, typical Caelyn. Caelyn talked to any and everybody. I don't think we have stranger danger yet. Caelyn as also not affected by turbulence. She just laughed and smiled.
At the airport
It was great to have family come to the airport to see us off. It was sad to leave. Caelyn started crying which made it hard for all of us.
Cupid's Chase 2009
The Cupid's Chase is always a fun event. We hate hate that will won't be able to do it for a while. :(
Caelyn hanging with her daycare friends
Caelyn will miss going to Ms. Tida's house and all of the friends she made there. She had a good time going there everyday and playing with the other children. She asks about going to Ms. Tida's house everyday.
Young family going away
Many family and friends passed by our informal going a way gathering at the house.
MLK March
Caelyn and I participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. March in San Marcos with Sorors from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc..
