Our first week in Albany
Our first week in Albany has been exciting to say the least. We are trying to find our way around. It is a lot like Austin except cold and much better highways. We found Walmart and the grocery store. I think we have gone to Walmart almost everyday for something. At first it felt like we were on vacation staying in a timeshare, but then our stuff came on Saturday. It started to sink in that we are here for good. Caelyn asks for family, her neighborhood friends and her daycare teacher and friends everyday. I think that has been the hardest part. It makes us sad to tell her we won't see them today. We have checked out a new doctor for Caelyn and visited two places that could be daycares. It is not the same as being in Kyle. Caelyn got a bad stomach bug Sunday and we ended up in the emergency room because she could not keep anything down and was possibly getting dehydrated. She is fine. :):) Then Monday the carbon monoxide alarm went off and kept going off. I had to call the fire department. The fire truck, two firemen in SUVs, the police, and the ambulance came out. It was embarrassing. There was a trace of carbon monoxide in the apartment, but probably because someone near us started their car in the garage and the wind blew it back in. we will see what happens this week.

WOW! You found WalMart!! :) You are set for however long you all will be there! :) When we go on vacation, we tend to plan our trips around that store. The vacation isn't the expensive part, it's what we spend at WalMart! You're doing great getting into the groove of life. It will come easier in time. Lots of love, Lori and Sandy
